Technical Features
The exterior of the Glassy camper blanket is made with recycled polyester from plastic bottles, certified by GRS. It is a RipStop tear-resistant fabric and is treated with two key technologies: a Ruco Guard C6® stain repellent free of harmful substances and a Sanitized Actifresh anti-odor treatment. Both provide durability, hygiene, and breathability, making it ideal for use with both children and pets.
To maintain the waterproof effect, it is recommended to iron the blanket once washed.
In the central part of the blanket, we have integrated Micro-Thermal Fill Insulation, a technical filling certified by Oeko-Tex. This hollow fiber provides great heat retention and good moisture wicking. It works similarly to conventional down, but without ethical compromises, as it is made entirely of polyester.
Sleeping in the van should feel like home… but better. That’s why the inner layer of our camper duvets combines extreme softness and warmth with a recycled and GRS-certified sherpa fleece fabric. Perfect for cozy nights on your adventures.

The first thing we thought about when we started designing was: this camper duvet has to take up very little space in the van and, whatever space it does take, it has to be for a useful purpose. That’s why the Glassy blankets turn into a super comfortable cushion that, besides decorating the van, will have a winter side and a summer side, to offer you maximum comfort at any time of the year 😎.
But… what happens if we want to sleep under the stars or use our blanket outside the van, while sharing adventures with other vanlifers after dinner? The solution: we can turn our blankets into sleeping bags or cozy layers to keep warm while sheltering from the damp.
What about sizes? We’ve taken into account that every van is different and there are beds of all sizes, so you can find our blankets in 140 cm width (outdoor) and in 180 cm (Sherpa XL), and you can also connect some together if you need an XXL blanket 💪🏻.

What are the dimensions of the blankets?
We can differentiate 3 different models:
- Camper Blankets with sherpa lining, perfect for one person or 2 in small beds, measuring 137 x 200 cm.
- Camper XL Blankets with sherpa lining, designed for 2 people with a larger bed, measuring 180 x 200 cm.
- Outdoor Blanket with waterproof fabric on both sides, suitable for indoor and outdoor use or warmer seasons, measuring 137 x 200 cm.
What materials do we use?
- Durable outer fabric: High-durability recycled polyester ripstop, tear-resistant and breathable. It features a waterproof and stain-resistant Ruco Guard C6® finish (free of PFOA and PFOS) and an anti-odor Sanitized Actifresh finish. (♻️ Recycled polyester made from plastic bottles and 🧾certified by GRS.)
- Thermal filling: technical hollow fiber fabric Micro-Thermal Fill Insulation. (✅ Polyester certified by Oeko-Tex). Retains heat and provides comfort and lightness to the blanket.
- Sherpa fabric (in Camper and XL blankets): Very soft to the touch, ideal for direct skin contact. (♻️ Recycled polyester made from plastic bottles and 🧾certified by GRS.)

¿Are they waterproof or stain-resistant?
Yes, all our camper blankets feature a stain-resistant finish, which also makes them waterproof. Additionally, they include an anti-odor treatment that prevents food, drink, pet, or sweat odors from setting in, keeping them fresh and ready for your getaways.
💡We recommend ironing after each wash to fully reactivate the stain-resistant and anti-odor finish.

If you have a large bed in the motorhome or travel to cold areas, we recommend the XL camper blanket. For medium campers with a small bed or roof tents, the ideal option is the single camper blanket. The single camper blanket (137x200 cm). It is designed for one person and is ideal for narrower camper beds, roof tents, or to use as an auxiliary blanket at any time during the trip. Its sherpa interior offers a soft and cozy warmth, perfect for the coldest nights with a comfort temperature from 0º to 10º.
The XL camper blanket (180x200 cm) is our largest version, designed for those seeking maximum comfort in their camper bed, van, or motorhome. Thanks to its extra size, it comfortably covers two people. It maintains the same high-quality, warm sherpa fabric with a comfort temperature from 0º to 10º, ideal as a camper duvet all year round.
The outdoor blanket (137x200 cm) is designed for outdoor use: picnics, beach, or mountain. It is lighter, easy to fold, and features a waterproof base that makes it perfect for outdoor use, with less internal filling to achieve a comfort temperature above 10º, perfect for spring and summer seasons.
¿Am I going to be cold with the camper blanket?
With our thermal camper blanket you won’t be cold. Its 220 g/m² filling ensures a comfortable temperature between 0 °C and 10 °C, both in the 137×200 cm and the 180×200 cm versions. It is the perfect warm van blanket for the coldest months or for sleeping in mountain areas. Plus its sherpa lining is so soft and comfortable it will wrap you up.
If you prefer a lighter option, the outdoor blanket is ideal for spring or summer with temperatures above 10 °C. Its design makes it a practical, breathable, and easy-to-store blanket for outdoor use, perfect for those who enjoy the outdoors and warm nights.
¿How do I store the Camper Blankets?
Storing the camper blanket can be very easy if you follow these instructions:

Camper Blanket 137x200cm:
- Open the zipper and remove the cushion from the integrated pocket.
- Spread out the blanket and fold it in half, leaving the sherpa fabric inside.
- Turn the zipper inward to create the cushion space and fill the cushion up to the corner, thus creating the base of the cushion.
- Bring the ends from the other side of the blanket toward the bottom of the cushion, aligning it with the corners of the pocket.
- Finally, tuck the remaining corners to the bottom of the cushion.
- Close the zipper a little, and turn it to continue closing the cushion.
- Shape the cushion to give it form, and you're done!!
Camper Blanket 180x200cm:
- Open the zipper and remove the cushion from the integrated pocket.
- Spread out the blanket and fold it into thirds to the size of the cushion, leaving the sherpa fabric inside.
- Turn the zipper inward to create the cushion space and fill the cushion up to the corner, thus creating the base of the cushion.
- Bring the ends from the other side of the blanket toward the bottom of the cushion, aligning it with the corners of the pocket.
- Finally, tuck the remaining corners to the bottom of the cushion.
- Close the zipper a little, and turn it to continue closing the cushion.
- Shape the cushion to give it form, and you're done!!
¿How are the blankets washed?
You can wash the camper blankets in the washing machine:
- Wash at a maximum of 30 °C
- Do not use bleach
- Iron at a maximum of 150 °C
- Dry cleaning with perchloroethylene is allowed
- Do not tumble dry
💡We recommend ironing after each wash to fully reactivate the stain-resistant and odor-resistant finish.
How many plastic bottles are recycled to make a blanket?
At Glassy, we place great importance on the technical development of our products, but also on ensuring the manufacturing process has the least possible impact.
All our blankets are made with recycled polyester from post-consumer plastic bottles certified by GRS.
For the production of each outdoor blanket, 15 bottles of plastic have been recycled, and for each XL blanket, 41 plastic bottles are recycled.
