Seat covers
Are Glassy covers compatible with my vehicle's seats?
Our waterproof seat covers are universal and compatible with most models thanks to the elastic pieces on the back. You can also check compatibility by vehicle brands at this link
In motorhomes and certain rear seats of vans, it is important to check if the seatbelt is integrated into the seat itself. If that is the case, the covers would not be compatible with that type of configuration.
My seat has a side Airbag. Is the cover compatible with the Airbag?
At Glassy Europe we have obtained certification for compatibility with seats that include side airbags. You can see all the information 👉 here
I have a Large Volume Van, is my rear seat compatible?
The *Camper Double Rear Cover with Large Volume* is compatible with most OKB TYPE benches of vans *Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer, Citroën Jumper, Volkswagen Crafter, Mercedes Sprinter, Renault Master, Nissan NV400, Ford Transit*, etc.
If your rear seat consists of 2 pieces (Seat cushion + Backrest cushion + Headrest separate from the backrest or attached to it) it is very likely to be compatible. You can check the measurements in the Compatibility and measurements section.
What function do Waterproof Covers serve?
The main function of our cover has been to withstand those adventures with your camper in the mountains, beach, deserts, and forests without worrying about dirtying or damaging the upholstery. Whether you're doing those MTB routes where you arrive covered in mud, or those beach days when you come back with a wet swimsuit full of sand, when your pets don't even consider how clean your vehicle is, just focus on fully enjoying those moments and let Glassy seat covers take care of protecting your seats.
How to clean Waterproof Covers?
You can see an example of how we recommend cleaning the covers here. If you prefer to take them home and put them in the washing machine, no problem, but remember to do it at 30ºC and without spinning.
Are Glassy cases breathable or do they cause heat?
The issue of breathability is directly related to waterproofing. The more waterproof it is, the less it will breathe. That is why ours do not offer a total barrier against water, in order to promote breathability.
No matter how much we want, in summer anything you put on a seat will feel hot, even the seat itself. But don't worry, because the fabric of our covers will never give you that plastic feeling. They are well tested and their performance is very good.
What quality do we offer?
Just to tell you that at Glassy we are total "geeks" about quality!!
We are aware that nowadays it is difficult to find quality products that last more than a year after intense use. That is why, at Glassy Europe, we meticulously take care of every detail of each product, choosing the highest quality materials and paying special attention to the finishes, reinforcing every seam and sustainably manufacturing more than 90% of our products in Spain.
This is something that inevitably increases production costs compared to other products on the market, but we stay true to our brand philosophy and we know that customers like you will appreciate and value it when you can enjoy your products for a loooong time.
