SIDE AIRBAG CERTIFICATE

We know you have been waiting for this safety guarantee for a long time. For us, it has always been a priority to work on it, as safety comes first. After intensive research and development with our waterproof front seat cover, we have achieved compatibility certification with seats that include side airbags.

This certification with retroactive effect (if you purchased a cover before 02/10/22 you can rest assured) has been carried out by the Lukassiewicz Research Network Automotive Industry Institute. Since we started manufacturing our covers, we knew they were compatible with seats that included side airbags, because we had conducted internal tests with different types of seats. The results of these tests were satisfactory, as we designed the covers in such a way that the airbag easily broke the side seam and deployed perfectly.

The next step was to find a laboratory specialized in the automotive industry that would perform these same tests, document them, and certify them.

Now you know that, in addition to protection for your seat and a new look inside your van, 4x4, or car, the covers Glassy Europe® they offer you the greatest security and peace of mind through this certificate.

Although this document certifies that the side airbags of a seat deploy in a timely and proper manner, the Vehicle Technical Inspection (ITV) in Spain does not recognize this certificate. Therefore, we recommend passing the ITV without the covers installed, since you may be asked to remove them.
